Patrik Berg Almkvisth, a multifaceted musician and actor from Stockholm, Sweden, presents his latest album, "Life Above," an ambitious and innovative project that takes listeners on a sonic journey through the Himalayas.

Born into a musical family, Patrik's earliest memories include falling asleep under the grand piano his father played in church. His passion for music continued to thrive throughout his childhood and education, eventually leading to a dual career in acting and music production. With performances on stage, TV, and film, and voice acting roles for major studios like Marvel, Disney, and Netflix, Patrik's deep understanding of storytelling is evident in his music.

In the spring of 2023, Patrik embarked on a three-week trek to reach Mount Everest Base Camp and the summit of Kala Patthar. Accompanied by his Zoom Audio Recorder, he documented the sounds of nature and the people of the Khumbu Region, intertwining these field recordings with new musical compositions. The result is an audio tapestry that serves as a love letter to Nepal and its people, capturing the essence of the journey and the environment.
